Methodology and editorial standards
The site is maintained as a practical product-plus-guides resource. Guides are written around recurring CSV cleanup problems that can be tested with the local browser tool.
How guide topics are chosen
We prioritize topics where CSV cleanup has real operational consequences: imports that fail, dates that sort incorrectly, duplicate contacts, accounting reconciliation, survey analysis, and repeatable automation.
What each guide must include
- A specific file source or workflow, not just a generic keyword topic.
- Concrete failure modes, such as duplicate headers, quoted delimiters, null markers, or ambiguous dates.
- A conservative local workflow that asks users to preview, validate, and keep a change record.
- Clear warnings when automatic cleanup may be unsafe.
Update policy
We revise pages when the tool changes, when a guide becomes redundant, or when a reported workflow gap is useful to future readers. The guide hub stays intentionally small so the site does not become a collection of overlapping thin pages.
Ad and content policy posture
During the current AdSense review pass, the site avoids ad placements and focuses on publisher content, tool usefulness, transparent policies, and clean navigation. Ads should only be reintroduced after approval and should never interfere with the tool controls or guide readability.
